Description

Get ready to unleash your creativity and build your acting skills with this foundational course in the world of improvisation. Gain a stronger grasp on valuable listening skills, creating characters, and being a generous scene partner. Through games, scene work and exercises, you'll develop your acting skills while having fun and boost your confidence in your abilities. Join us and discover the joy of improvisation. Basic acting skills are helpful but are not required. Note: this course requires a 50% deposit. The remaining 50% will be invoiced after the start of the course and will be due by 11/6. About Your Coach: Michael moved to Atlanta from Los Angeles where he graduated the improv school at The Groundlings (the program that birthed the careers of great comedians including Kristen Wiig, Jimmy Fallon, Will Ferrell, and Jennifer Coolidge) and studied acting at Warner Loughlin Studios under the tutelage of Warner Loughlin and Erin Cardillo. Michael recently wrapped production on a new feature film for Netflix starring Julia Garner as well as appearing in multiple national and regional comedic commercials. His acting experience also includes projects for Ghost House Pictures, NBC and the CW. Michael also starred in the Off-Broadway productions of The Drunken City and Neil LaBute's The Shape of Things while working with the sketch comedy troupe "Cardboard Helmets" and producing multiple digital shorts and stage shows in NYC.
