You’ve finished your self-tape, you’re feeling good… and then you see it: “Please send two takes.”
Too often, actors miss the chance this direction actually provides. Instead of just repeating the same performance twice, casting is giving you an opening to show range, flexibility, and directability all within a simple audition. Done right, your second take can be the thing that makes them remember you.
