You're invited to join us for a special performance review of Gruesome Playground Injuries by Rajiv Joseph.
This is an opportunity for our community to observe and support the ongoing workshop and development being explored by a few of our advanced actors outside of regular class time.
Directed by Charlie Scaglione and featuring performances by Julie Kashmanian and Luke Pierre Roness, this presentation offers a glimpse into the rehearsal, exploration, and character work involved in developing a contemporary dramatic piece.
Gruesome Playground Injuries is a darkly funny, deeply emotional play that follows two people whose lives remain strangely intertwined over the course of 30 years through a series of accidents, injuries, reconnections, and missed opportunities. The play has become a favorite among actors and theatre artists for its raw vulnerability, unconventional structure, and deeply human exploration of love, trauma, loneliness, and emotional survival.
