Make a Scene: Content Workshop

What can you create in less than 24 hours?

Inspired by the energy and spontaneity of 24-hour film festivals, Make a Scene is a fast-paced creative challenge designed to push actors, writers, directors, and collaborators out of their comfort zones and into pure imagination, play, and storytelling.

Participants will work in teams of 2–4 people to create an entirely original scene (1-5 minutes long) from scratch in under 24 hours.

Teams will receive a few required parameters or surprise elements that must be included in the final piece. Beyond that… the rest is entirely up to you!

Comedy? Drama? Horror? Fantasy? Experimental performance art? A fully staged scene? Multimedia? Something completely bizarre? Go for it.

There are virtually no limits on style, genre, or presentation. If you can dream it up and pull it off by Saturday night, it’s fair game.
