Invited Rehearsal: "The Songs We Sing At Funerals"

Greenlight Acting Studios is proud to present our first ever presentation of a work-in-progress play titled "The Songs We Sing At Funerals".

This fall, actors from Greenlight have had the priviledge to workshop this brand new material and are now offering you the opportunity to be the among the first audience members to experience several scenes from the play as performed by our actors!

"The Songs We Sing At Funerals", written by John David Brown, explores six separate scenes, each involving a unique funeral service where our characters find themselves in a dilemma of whether or not a funeral is actually an appropriate time for honesty... and just how honest should we be? 

Through a variety of humorous and heartfelt scenarios, "The Songs We Sing At Funerals" challenges the ideas of truth-telling, relationships, consequences, and social propriety.
