Need footage for your reel and credits for your resume? Why not write and create your own single-location, two actor short film?? Now you have a credit you can add to IMDb, your resume and Actor's Access as well as footage to showcase your talent on a reel!

5 Day Intensive:

Writer's Room with Coach Erin Bethea - partner up and create your original scene:

Wednesday, June 23rd 6-10pm

Thursday, June 24th 6-10pm

Filming Days with Coach James Tucker will be Friday, Saturday and Sunday on Location (hours are TBD based on production needs)

Actors will be given required guidelines for their original scenes (location options, length, sfx, etc.) and will partner up to write an original two-person scene that showcases each of them. They will be given guidance and notes on their writing as well as coaching and rehearsal time. All course participants will assist with the filming of all scenes over the weekend. This is a community effort and everyone will get to work in front of and behind the camera!

Actors will receive their final, edited scenes within two weeks of course completion!

About your Coaches:

Erin Bethea - Writer's Room and Rehearsals

With over 15 years as a professional working actress both on stage and screen, Erin Bethea is most recognized for her starring role in the hit film "Fireproof". She has since starred in over 20 feature films including projects for Hallmark, Netflix, Sony. and Lionsgate. She has hosted 3 seasons of an Emmy Award winning TV series.

Iin addition to her extensive acting work, Erin is producer and writer whose credits include the acclaimed film "New Life" and Snapchat's hit series "Dead of Night". Erin's knowledge and experience in the entertainment world includes work with casting directors, domestic and international distribution companies, marketing campaigns for theatrical films, and more.

James Tucker - Director/Filming on Location

James Adam Tucker is an actor and recent Los Angeles transplant, who has appeared in numerous film and television productions including "Criminal Minds", "The Mindy Project", "Book Club", "Mistresses", "Training Day", "Beverly Hills 90210", and "Hair Spray".

A longtime independent filmmaker, James has created over 600 actors' demo scenes and reels. ​He has directed over 25 feature films including "Eat Your Heart Out" which won Best Feature at the Backseat Film Festival and "Baby Fat" which won Best Feature at the Big Apple Film Festival and the Key West Film Festival.
