This is THE class that EVERY actor needs! Ready for a renewed commitment and understanding of the history of your craft? This 18 week course will take actors further in their knowledge, skills, tools, and education than anything we've ever offered before! Designed to help actors shape their pursuits, passions and possibilities by introducing you to as many tools of the trade as possible. Together, we'll break down the most influential acting techniques from the last 100 years, giving actors a full overview of the craft, how it has shifted and changed and what tools are available through each of these incredible approaches. Over the course of the Lab, you'll work with various members of our coaching team as they take you through "experiments" with some of the most popular techniques and acting methods. This class covers: Stanislavky's System Lee Strasberg's Method Meisner Technique Stella Adler Technique Michael Chekhov Technique Uta Hagen Technique Warner Loughlin Technique Ivana Chubbuck Technique Practical Aesthetics If you've ever wondered what these techniques entailed or if any of them might be useful to your work, this class was designed to answer that question! Through partnered scene work, exercises, and application, we'll examine what each of these celebrated approaches brings to the table - how they differ and how they align - and ultimately how each of them was designed with the same goal in mind: authenticity in acting. Registration will close on July 3rd. - A link will then be sent out to all confirmed actors to subscribe for their plan.
