For this Session, our focus will be: The Actor's Task - Auditioning is the Job A major part of this business is being constantly in search of the next job or the next opportunity. Often, this comes in the form of... you guessed it... auditioning! But it's not all just about mastering those auditions, it's also about what's expected of you during all those next steps... from callbacks, pins, etc to booking the job. We’ll discuss tools to building strong, lasting relationships that keep you on casting's radar. Whether you're just starting out or looking to fine-tune your game, this class will have you feeling confident, connected, and ready to take on the industry! We'll cover: Submissions and Self-Taping Types of Auditions Callbacks (Zoom vs In-Person) Casting Terminology and Communication Tips By the end of this month, you’ll be more prepared to navigate that all-too-familiar, sometimes daunting, but also exciting middle ground between your training and preparation and actually booking the job! *This month features special guest Casting Directors Erica Arvold and Rhavynn Drummer.
