The next level of our most innovative course! This 9 week course builds on the foundation gained in Actor's Lab Level 1 to include more contemporary approaches to the craft. Together, we'll break down the some of the more recently practiced approaches to acting work, giving actors a more full overview of the craft, how it has shifted and changed and what tools are available through each of these incredible techniques. This class covers: Ivana Chubbuck Technique Practical Aesthetics Warner Loughline Technique Actor & the Target Through partnered scene work, exercises, and application, we'll examine what each of these celebrated approaches brings to the table - how they differ and how they align - and ultimately how each of them was designed with the same goal in mind: authenticity in acting. Join us for anothre leve lof a Lab like no other! IMPORTANT INFO: - A first month's fee of $200 non-refundable deposit is required to hold your spot. - REGISTER EARLY! This class begins Oct 14, and has an earlier than usual registration cut off, so please register by no later than Oct 7 to avoid a 15% late fee. - This class is paid in full with an additional $200 payment that will be invoiced after one month. - Class information, scenes and partners will be assigned prior to the first class. - Class begins Oct 14 and runs every Wednesday night from 6:30-9:30pm through Dec 16 except for Thanksgiving week. - PLEASE NOTE THE SCHEDULE as missing classes can be detrimental to your work and your scene partner's. *makeup classes may be available but are not guaranteed and will depend on coaches' availability Your Coaches for this Course Will Be: Erin Bethea, Amey Richards, and Warren Levi Haney. NOTE: You must have completed Actor's Lab Level 1 to join this course. Unqualified registrants may be cancelled and received a refund less a processing fee and admin fee. If you have questions about your qualification for this course, feel free to reach out. CANCELLATIONS: Cancelling this course after the start date may result in a fee of up to $150 due to the negative affect it will have on your scene partner's progress. Be a good partner!
