4 Weeks, Starts July 11th. This fun and character-driven improv course is open to all experience levels. You will learn the fundamentals of improv that build performance skills and confidence. With a focus on character creation inspired by the globally acclaimed improv school, The Groundlings (home of comedians like Will Ferrell, Lisa Kudrow and Melissa McCarthy), students will be challenged to engage in the collaborative process of improv. Basic acting skills are helpful but are not required. This class runs every Monday night and requires monthly renewal. Meet Your Coach: Michael Gene Conti recently moved to Atlanta from Los Angeles where he graduated the improv school at The Groundlings and studied acting at Warner Loughlin Studios under the tutelage of Warner Loughlin and Erin Cardillo. Michael's acting experience includes projects for Ghost House Pictures, NBC and the CW. Michael also starred in the Off-Broadway productions of "The Drunken City" and Neil LaBute's "The Shape of Things" while working with the sketch comedy troupe "Cardboard Helmets" and producing multiple digital shorts and stage shows in NYC.
