Description

4 Weeks to Better Auditions! Auditions freak you out? Are you seeing the results you want from bookings, call backs or return requests from casting? Do you view auditions as a hassle or something that makes you nervous? Let us help you improve your mindset and your skills when it comes to audition approach. In this 4-week course we will tackle the complete ins & outs of how to level up your craft as an auditioner. Many actors (especially in the beginning of their careers) make the fatal mistake of seeing their job starting as they walk into the rehearsal room or on set. This notion is incorrect. Our job starts NOW. Our career begins TODAY. THIS is our job as actors in 2023: crafting powerful auditions with artistic excellence. Course Objectives: - Technical awareness of the tools you need for proper self-taping - An enhanced critical eye on how to build worlds within the format of a self-tape - Proficient self-awareness of how your present yourself in the audition room - An increased knowledge of how you want to personally make your mark in this industry About Your Coach: Warren Levi Haney is a classically-trained American actor known for bringing charming, mysterious characters with a hint of electricity to life on stage & screen. From the start of his career he has worked consistently in the theater world performing Shakespeare, new plays, and musicals with such companies as Seattle Shakespeare Company and Idaho Shakespeare Festival.. Most recently, Warren appeared as Little Charles in Greenlight Acting Studios' production of the Pulitzer Prize winning play "August: Osage County" and wrapped production on his first lead role in a feature film titled, "Love Vs. The Red Pill". He received his B.F.A. in Acting from Cornish College of the Arts in Seattle, WA. As an educator Warren has taught acting technique for schools across the states of Idaho & Washington, and strives to now bring his experience to fellow artists in Atlanta, GA.
